Discipline Coordinator for Special Education-Barbara Fiechtl. M.S.

Ms. Fiechtl is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation. She has taught children with disabilities in public school programs, consulted with private day care agencies, and managed an early intervention program on a University campus. The past 17 years she has been involved in preparing teachers of infants, toddlers, and preschool children. She has also developed innovative distance education strategies in teacher preparation. She participates with other state agencies, the Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers, and national organizations, the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children.
