Discipline Coordinator for Nursing-Paula Peterson, MS, FCN, PNP
Ms. Peterson is a Family Nurse Clinician specializing in pediatrics, and is a licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Primary Children's Medical Center. Since 1973, Ms. Peterson has been providing services to children with spina bifida and has been instrumental in moving the program from a basic medical model to a comprehensive program addressing the needs of children and young adults in a holistic manner. Ms. Petersen has been a lecturer in the Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs for many years and a clinical preceptor of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She has major responsibilities for supporting and mentoring URLEND trainees during clinical experiences at PCMC.
