Children with Special Health Care Needs Bureau - Harper Randall, Medical Director


Harper Randall joined the CSHCN Bureau in October of 2006. She is the new Medical Director, working closely with Holly Williams, the Bureau Director. Prior to working for the Department of Health, she was a private pediatrician with Granger Medical Clinic in West Valley for 16 years. In 1991, she was President of the Medical Staff at Primary Childrens Medical Center. She worked actively with the University of Utah's residency program as a mentor to residents. Originally from Washington D.C, she received her undergraduate degree from Boston University, medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and did her residency training at the University of Utah. She is excited to have joined the Department of Health and will be involved in many programs, such as Medical home, Neonatal Followup. 2 multi-disciplinary teams, CSHCN traveling clinics, Newborn Screening and Hearing Screening,Early Intervention and transition.
