Autism-Enhanced (AE) Training

For URLEND trainees who have completed 1 year of URLEND training an Autism Enhanced year of training consisting of 150 hours is available in an online format (via Zoom). The training curriculum is designed to meet your goals to build autism expertise. The AE track features in-depth exploration of research and issues related to autism with the Autism Enhanced faculty and guest speakers to build on your core URLEND training. An autism-focused leadership project and a week at USU’s ASSERT program round out the year of training. About 5 trainees who have completed at least 1 year of LEND are selected each year.

If you would like to apply for the URLEND-AE Program please complete the online application.

Application deadline has been extended to April 15th. Applications may be considered after this date if there are still openings in the program.
