URLEND South Main Clinic - This clinic in Salt Lake City serves primarily clients from low SES, Spanish-speaking populations. The URLEND Traineeexperience includes the opportunity to be part of a series of collaborativeinteractive presentations with families who have children with disabilities (or who are at risk for disabilities). The purpose of these trainee presentations is to provide families with the information they have requested which furthers the families need to develop strategies to access services and supports for their child. Past presentations / discussions topics generated by the families include: Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and/or convulsions, Stress management, Sexuality in children with disabilities, Guardianship issues, Special needs of siblings of children with disabilities, Behavior management, and Genetics, among other topics.
