URLEND Faculty - Molly Kimmel, MS, OTR/L
Molly Kimmel currently practices occupational therapy at Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT where she serves adult, pediatric, and infant populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Molly graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in psychology before moving to Philadelphia to work in adult education. Working with men and women with mental illness and a history of homelessness informed her decision to pursue occupational therapy as an avenue to help children and adults more fully participate in meaningful, necessary, and valuable activities. She moved to Seattle and received her master of science degree in occupational therapy from the University of Washington in 2010. During her year as a URLEND trainee, Molly focused on program development, including building an outpatient pediatric therapy program and being the therapy representative for the newly opened NICU at her hospital. She is passionate about neurodevelopmental rehabilitation and connecting with other professionals to best care for individuals and families in Montana.
