Kaylee Christensen, Education: Special Education
I am is a graduate student at Brigham Young University studying applied behavior analysis and special education. I received my undergraduate degree in special education and earned certificates in teaching severe disabilities and teaching physical education. I have worked in the ABA field for the past five years and is now working on obtaining her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification. I currently work as a part-time special education teacher in the classroom setting and as a Registered Behavior Technician in the clinical setting. Both teaching and working as an RBT allows her to work with individuals with special needs in various situations. I'm originally from Boise, Idaho where I grew up with three siblings. My younger brother has Down syndrome and has helped me in understanding the dynamics of having a child with a disability in a family. I enjoy running, mountain biking, golfing, and hiking.
