Sebastian Romero, Nursing
My name is Sebastian Romero. I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico, but spent a lot of my youth in Texas (therefore I cheer for the Mexican national soccer team and Dallas Cowboys).
I currently work as a float-pool nurse at the University of Utah Hospital, and am getting my Ph.D. in Nursing at the U of U as well. My research interests revolve around Hispanic fathers and their role in rearing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
One of my hobbies is playing soccer, although recently I began coaching youth soccer and am enjoying that a lot more since there is a significantly less amount of running. In addition to soccer, I enjoy hiking, canoeing and attempting to train my Labrador retriever.
