Gina A. Cook, Ph.D.

URLEND Evaluation Specialist
Core Faculty - Family Human Developement

Dr. Cook is a Research Scientist in the Division for Interdisciplinary Training at the Center for Persons with Disabilities at USU and a Lecturer in the Department of Family, Consumer, and Human Development. She received her Ph.D. from Utah State University in Early Child Development. She has worked at USU since 1995. Dr. Cook has worked on multiple projects focusing on early language and literacy development and intervention. She is a member of the Early Head Start Research Consortium and has been the Co-PI on 3 grants focusing on parent-child interactions, language development, and self-regulation. She teaches Research Methods and Development Across the Lifespan and provides trainings for multiple Head Start and Early Head Start programs. She is a former URLEND trainee.
